Keat KoveFounder and President of CMOI thank God for helping me to survive the Killing Field, under Communist dictator Pol Pot. Being a work slave for the communists with only three days off per year has thoroughly trained me to work hard. By taking away all my freedom, the communists taught me to value my freedom and never take it for granted.
Through four years of suffering and three near death experiences, the communists prepared my heart to accept Christ when I escaped from the Killing field to a refugee camp in Thailand, where I heard the gospel. After 11 years of construction work in Hawaii, U.S.A, I decided to retire from my construction business and return to Cambodia. It is only by the grace of God that I became who I am now, and I want to give all credit to God for what He has helped me to accomplish in my life. It is my desire to give back to God what He has given to me... my finance, my remaining years on earth, gifts and talents etc. All I ask from God is wisdom and 10 more years of good health to finish the whole project. I am asking God to send faithful men and women to come and help us with their gifts and talents, so that we can give all glory to our God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I recognize that Noah's Ark resort is a big project. There will be lots of challenges ahead of me, but these challenges are nothing compared to the challenges I had to face during the four years I spent as a work slave for the Communist... |
Chanvirak Bun (Paul) & Vanny YChurch Planters of Antioch ChurchWe love God and we find real joy in serving Him. We believe Noah's Ark will be the place for Christians come to meet with God. Non-Christians might not want to go to church, but they would come to Noah's Ark, so this will be the place where thousands of them will hear the gospel of Jesus and see the beauty of God's creation.
